What is Tata Trust Means Grant for College ?

Tata Trusts is inviting the applications of Tata Trusts Means Grant for College for the students of Class 11th onwards except engineering. The applications are invited for the students studying in colleges situated in Mumbai/Mumbai suburban areas. The purpose of this scheme is to financially and partially assist college students in pursuing higher studies.


What is Eligibility Criteria ?

  • Students should apply for the current academic year
  • Students studying in colleges / schools located within Mumbai / Mumbai suburban areas are eligible to apply (for school studies STD VIII till graduation, except engineering)
  • Student should have secured at least a pass class in their previous examination (ATKT students are not eligible to apply)
  • A maximum of two children from the same family can apply

What are benefits ?

The students who will be selected for the reward of a scholarship will get partial financial support towards the tuition fee that has been paid to the college.


How to Apply?

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Visit the application page.

Step 2: Enter the personal email address to register and log in.
Step 3: Click on 'Apply Now' to submit the application for the grant.


What are documents required ?

  • Last academic year mark sheet
  • Fee receipt of the current academic year
  • The first page of bank account passbook
  • Letter on the letterhead of the college where a student is studying
  • Income statement receiving from investments along with documentary proof (applicable for retired candidates receiving income from investments)
  • ITR slip (in case of self-employed candidates)
  • Latest salary slip (for salaried candidates)

What are Terms & Conditions ?

  • Selections for the programme will be on the basis of financial need.
  • ATKT students are not eligible to apply.
  • The applicants should apply for the current academic year of study.
  • This scholarship scheme is open for Indian residents only. 
  • Only immediate family members can apply (student and parents only).
  • A maximum of two children from the same family can apply for this scholarship
