Foundation for Advancement of Education and Research (FAER) is conducting FAER McAfee Scholar Awards 2020 for the final year students of B.E./B.Tech. Through this scheme, the engineering and polytechnic students are encouraged to prepare project proposals based on their creativity and innovative skills.
The aim of this award is to select the scholars based on the project in the areas of Computer Science & IT, Cyber Security, AI & Robotics, Mobile Communications, Renewable Energy Systems, Signal Processing, Rural Technologies, Healthcare Technologies, Labour-saving Technologies for Women, Ecology, and Environment, or Mobile Applications.
What is Eligibility Criteria ?
Students who are the bonafide final year students of B.E./B.Tech from recognized colleges in India can apply for this award.
Maximum 4 students can take part in the project team.
First Prize: A total of INR 1 lac will be given to the first prize winner (INR 80,000/- to the student's team and INR 20,000/-to project guide).
Second Prize: The second prize winner will get INR 75,000/-. Out of which INR 60,000/-will be provided to the student's team and INR 15,000/- to the project guide.
Third Prize: An amount of INR 50,000/- will be given to the third prize winner (INR 40,000/- to the student's team and INR 10,000/- to the project guide).

The team has to submit the project proposal signed by their project advisor and principal.
Also, they have to submit a declaration stating that the work proposed will be done exclusively for this award.
The project team is required to submit the letter from the principal stating that the student is the final year bonafide student of the respective institution
