The Hare Krishna Welfare Society (HKWS) is a registered society of charity. The main aims and objectives of the HKWS are to open and run schools for the needy, poor children.

What are benefits ?

The Students who are selected in written examination and personal interviews, conducted by HKWS would be awards prestigious cash Scholarship up to Rs 12,000/-, Rs 6,000/-, Rs 4,000/- and Rs 1200/- (or a set of books) yearly as applicable for a period of one year.


How to Apply?

Any Indian students under any group can apply for the registration directly on website http://www.theharekrishna.com/downloads/prospectus.pdf

 or by through School. The forms are available at a cost of Rs 200/- in cash or by post form the office of HKWS by sending a bank draft of Rs 250/- in favour of HARE KRISHNA WELFARE SOCIETY payable at Kurukshetra.

All application along with necessary enclosures should be sent to the officer of the HKWS Kurukshetra. Application should be sent through Regd. Post (Couriers are not acceptable).

  • Cross Demand Draft of Rs 500/- in favour of Hare Krishna Welfare Society Payable at Kurukshetra.

Medium of Examination:
The medium of examination for written and oral tests will be English, Hindi, or their study as preferred by candidate in his/her respective Registration Form.

Written Test:
Written test will consist of 100 objective questions of 200 marks for class 1st to 10th For Nursery/UKG/LKG Paper will be of 100 marks

  • Language: Applied Grammar (Hindi/English/Punjabi etc) : 50
  • S.S. SC. &G.K. : 90 / 200
  • Maths & Mental ability: 60
  •  

For XI & XII:

  • Grammar : 50
  • Art/ Commerce/ Non-Med/ Med 100 / 150

Interview:
Only selected students according to merit list of written test will be called in for personal interview and who will be meritorious in this interview will be entitled for scholarship and Prizes.
