What is SKB Trust Higher Education Scholarship : Sarada Kalyan Bhandar ?
Sarada Kalyan Bhandar (SKB), a non-profitable charitable voluntary woman organization, is rendering service to the youth, women and children of rural India in the field of Education, Nutrition, Health and Environment.
SKB is carrying out its mission of “Nourish and Educate to Elevate The Underprivileged”
What is Eligibility Criteria ?
- Higher Secondary Students are eligible.
- Students passed in at least secondary examination.
- Admitted in their respective Institution.
- Minimum Percentage for H.S. Scholarship: 85% in Secondary Examination (Boys); 80% in Secondary Examination (Girls).
- Minimum % for undergraduate Scholarship: 85% in H.S Exam (Boys) : 75% in H.S.
- Minimum % for Postgraduate Scholarship: 60% in Undergraduate (Both boys & girls).
- Professional Career students selected for the Corresponding Course (e.g. MBBS, Engineering, Polytechnic, Nursing, ITI etc.)
- Mandatory Voluntary Service (Tutoring) at Child Welfare Centre – Kalyanpith for 2 hours for atleast 3 days a week for local applicants.

What are benefits ?
Rs. 500/- to 2000/- per month besides books, other subsidiary educational and medical assistance.

What are documents required ?
- Attested copies of mark sheet of all examinations & admit card.
- Family Income Certificate to be supported by BDO and Employer only.
- Bonafide certificate from school last attended.
- Receipt of admission at the present Institution
- Detail statement of your family condition along with the details of studies from childhood till date in Bengali.
- Two blank envelopes with postage worth Rs.5/- each.
