What is EATON Pratibha Awards ?

Eaton introduces Pratibha, a unique program that aims at encouraging multifaceted women engineering talent in India through educational scholarships at both undergraduate as well as post-graduate levels. 

Pratibha is the first of its kind scholarship that aims to recognize exceptional women engineering students in leading engineering institutions in India, assessing them not only on academic excellence but also on the basis of their co-curricular achievements.


What is Eligibility Criteria ?

A.    For Post-Graduate Students:

1. Applicants must be women students pursuing a Masters degree in Engineering. Entry to the program is open to students from the following colleges: 

  • Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur
  • Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
  • Students of the final and pre-final years, perusing Master's degree (M. Tech/ M.S.)
  • Dual degree 3rd and 4th year

2. The following fields of study are eligible:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Energy Science & Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Design
  • Systems & Controls Engineering
  • Physics
  • Mathematics and scientific computing
  • Computer Science
  • Civil Structural Engineering
  • Ocean Engineering
  • Fluid Mechanics
  • Metallurgy Engineering

B.    For Under-Graduate Students:

1. Applicants must be women students pursuing Bachelor's in Engineering. Entry to the program is open to students from the following colleges:

  • College of Engineering Pune
  • Cummins College of engineering for Women, Pune 
  • Students of the 3rd and 4th year are eligible

2. Students from only the following fields of study are eligible:

  • Mechanical
  • Instrumentation
  • Electronics and Telecommunications
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Electrical

What are Terms & Conditions ?

Criteria:

a.       Excellence in academics (CGPA)

b.      Involvement  in community services

c.       Achievements in co-curricular – sports, fine-arts, paper-presentation, etc

 

Evaluator: College TPO/HOD/Principal

Marks Allotted: 60% of total marks

 

For Round 2:

 

Criteria: The final project submission

Evaluator: Eaton employee team

Marks Allotted: 40% of total marks
