What is Tata Trust Scholarship for D.Ed/B.Ed ?
The Tata Trusts Scholarship for D.Ed. & B.Ed. is an excellent opportunity for students in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra and North-East (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) to receive support in tuition fee and other related fees for pursuing D.Ed. & B.Ed. courses. Offered by Tata Trusts, this scholarship programme is open only for the current academic year.
What is Eligibility Criteria ?
To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a resident of either Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra or North-East (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
- Have scored at least 60% marks in the last academic year.
- Be interested in pursuing D.Ed. or B.Ed.

What are benefits ?
The students selected for this scholarship will receive a fee waiver for tuition fee and other related fees paid to the institute/university.
How to Apply?
Follow the below steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the application link to start the application procedure.
Step 2: Click on 'APPLY'.
Step 3: Enter personal email address. This will send a password to the mentioned email.
Step 4: Input the password received on the email address and click on 'Next'.
Step 5: Enter the name of the candidate, mobile number and set a password.
Step 6: Click on 'Apply for grant'. This will lead to the main application page.
Step 7: In the main application, input 'Student details', 'Course details', 'Fee details' and 'Bank details'.
Step 8: Upload the required documents.
Step 9: Preview and submit.

What are documents required ?
- Attested mark sheet(s)
- Fee receipt
- Letter from college as per specimen
- Bank details (cancelled cheque/passbook)
What are Terms & Conditions ?
- Based on merit, the applicants will be shortlisted for an interview. The interview will be either conducted in person at Mumbai or through Skype (candidates should create a Skype id if they do not own one).
- The scholarship is open only for the current academic year and is applicable for studies in India (2019-2020).
- Applicants need to upload the scanned copies of all the required documents.
- Documents except the ones requested as well as unclear/manipulated documents will be treated as void. Hence, such documents won't be accepted.
- Candidates should be aware of the fact that Tata Trusts have no agents/intermediaries. So individuals claiming themselves to be associated with Tata Trusts and demanding a share from the grant should not be trusted. Such individuals must be brought to the notice of Tata Trusts Office immediately.
- The final decision on the award of scholarships rests with the Trustees.
- Applicants will not have access to the form after submission.
