Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyana Trust's Scholarship Program invites applications from students of class 11 to post-graduation who are willing to pursue their higher education in the professional courses like Engineering, Technology, Management, Law, Nursing, Medicine and Dental Sciences. The main aim is to assist intelligent but economically poor students of Karnataka.
What is Eligibility Criteria ?
- Candidate must be the permanent resident of Karnataka state.
- The family income limit of an applicant is INR 1 lac per annum from all sources.
- The applicant must have secured admission in regular courses in a recognized institution.
- Those who are pursuing part-time or correspondence courses are not eligible to apply.

What are benefits ?
Financial support will be granted to meritorious and needy students until the completion of the course.
How to Apply?
- Application forms can be filled via online mode.
- Click here https://ssjanakalyantrust.org/sch_app19/ to apply online.
- Read all the instructions carefully and start filling the application form.
- Enter your personal details, education details, and bank details.
- Accept the declaration and click on the “Submit” button.
- After filling the form completely, students need to take the printout of the filled-in application form.
- Send the printout along with all the requisite documents by courier, post or in-person to:

What are documents required ?
- SSLC/10th and PUC/12th mark sheet
- Previous semester/year mark sheet (if studying UG or PG)
- Income certificate
- Copy of Identity card issued by the institution
- Copy of Aadhar card
- Attach Passport size photograph in a printed application
- Copy of student bank passbook
- Copy of admission/fee receipt

This scholarship for Students in Karnataka only. Economically weaker and meritorious students will be selected for the scholarship.
