What is OP Jindal Star Scholarship ?
JSPL Foundation has announced O.P. Jindal Star Scholarship programme for Economically Weaker Meritorious Students (EWMS). O.P Jindal Star Scholarship will be provided to 20 EWMS, passed the 10th Class Exam and continuing their studies in 1st year of Higher Secondary Class (Arts/Science/Commerce) across the state.
What is Eligibility Criteria ?
- Must be a permanent resident of Banarpal or Chhendipada block of Angul District
- Must be enrolled in Govt./Pvt. School/college having tuition fee less than Rs. 500/- per month.
- Income of Parent’s/ Guardian’s from all sources must not be more than Rs. 2 lakh per-annum.
- The applicant must not avail scholarship from any other sources.
- Students reading in O.P. Jindal School are not eligible to apply.

latest by 24.11.2020 through by Person or Post or Courier.
What are documents required ?
- Complete filled in form in the prescribed format. The format can be obtained from the CSR Department of JSPL;
- Statement of marks of Previous Exam passed i.e Class X,XI, XII;
- Residential proof, a certificate from the Block/ District level;
- A bonafied certificate from the school/ college along with the fee structure;
- Annual family income certificate by appropriate authority;
- Self declaration regarding non-receipt of scholarship from other sources by the student duly endorsed by the school authorities.
What are Terms & Conditions ?
- Students have to submit the dully filled in form within the defined time and application submitted beyond the timeline will not be accepted.
- Preparation of list of students applied for Scholarship, compile detail of students and arrange applications according to form no / Serial no.
- All applications will be scrutinized. Verification in case of any student (if required) will be done by Scholarship Committee and list will be prepared.
- After assessment and preparation of the merit list the Scholarship Committee will declare the list.
- The categories of scholarships as mentioned above would be valid for two year only for OP Jindal Star Scholarship and 3/4/5 Years for OP Jindal Jewel Special Scholarship.
- The number of scholarships may vary depending on the availability of fund.
- Students who are in receipt of scholarship either from Government or from any other source will not be eligible for this scholarship.
- Special preference shall be given to the girl child, differently abled children and the wards of widow.
- Student must be a permanent resident of operational district of the concerned state.
